Facebook Can Help You Pay Your Loans! Kinda

Facebook, everyone’s favorite social network (except mine), is the hub for connecting over the internet. Not only is it a social network with near limitless options and doodads (doodads is a technical term), but it also doubles as a marketplace, photo album, arcade and one of the best ways to pass time while you are supposed to be working. Facebook was originally for college students so its only appropriate that it still has a ton of ways to help those same students earn a little extra money to help pay for beer student loans. Here are a couple to get you started.
Sell your old stuff in Facebook’s marketplace. Unlike selling things through Ebay, which takes a cut from your profit, the Facebook Marketplace is free. The marketplace is also a good place to look for a job. Companies are now realizing the need to present many sides of the business to the public and joining Facebook does just that. It’s also a helpful place to look for new talent and scope out potential hires. Good for companies and job seekers.
Do you need some extra cash? Are you an expert in some subject? The Ether Facebook Application just might be the thing for you. Here is the gist:
The Ether Facebook Application allows you to charge people for giving advice or tutoring them over the phone. Ether provides you with a special phone number that people will use to make their calls. The calls will be forwarded to your personal phone number. Your consulting service or tutoring service will be displayed in your Facebook profile along with how much you charge by the hour or half hour.

Ether may be the Facebook app that could make you rich. As a tip, mention your GPA and classes in your profile. People like to know what they are paying for and they generally don’t want to get tutored by someone dumber than they are.
In addition to making money, Facebook can also help to save you some mula too. If you’re someone who doesn’t have to be tied to a cell phone every second (I envy you), check out YouCam, Chatterbox, or the Walkietalkie applications. These applications allow voice over protocol on Facebook. Instead of wasting valuable cell phone minutes when you do need to talk, do it for free with one of these applications.
Install the Books application if you’re a reader who would like to cut the cost of books. The Books application lists the books you own and read. Connect with your friends who are also using the application and meet in real life to trade books with each other. You’ll save money by not buying new (and save the rain forests. Good for you).
Jobster is a great application for finding a job after college. The Jobster app enables you to join the Talent Networks of your favorite companies and get career advice from your Facebook network. Also receive personalized job alerts based on your career interests, post your resume online (always a good idea to have it in multiple places) and even search for jobs across the internet.
